We take great pride in making our products from start to finish - you can taste the difference that this makes. We maintain a brewery in Monson, Massachusetts, a Farm Fermentory in Woodstock Connecticut, a brewery in Deerfield, a taproom and brewery on Cape Cod, and a golf course and taproom in Tewksbury. We take a great deal of pride in our creative ecosystem at Tree House.
Draft Beer
There has been much chatter about the pizza that Tree House in Deerfield has been serving, and it’s easy to dismiss such talk, because conventional wisdom says that breweries are supposed to put beer first and food second. But the pizza served here (and now in Tewksbury and Sandwich as well) is nothing short of spectacular, even giving the legendary New Haven pizzerias a run for their money. Each location of Tree House has a different feel to it, and the fact that the Deerfield facility is housed in an office building could have caused it to have a generic feel. Instead, it’s something unique, because of all the thought that was put into its design. These beers are almost a decade in the making, and it is with great excitement and palpable joy that we are now able to share them with you.

The original concept for Beginner’s Mind originally came to us in early 2014 prior to the Extreme Beer Festival. The concept for that beer ultimately turned into Juice Machine, but the idea of approaching our craft with a Beginner’s Mind has stayed with us since.

It's easy - pre-purchased draft tickets are no longer required. For fastest service we encourage you to walk up to the bar and pay in person via cash or credit card. In an effort to reduce paper usage over time we will stop printing physical draft lists. Ordering beer to go in advance is strongly encouraged. The reason we do this is to make the whole experience more efficient for everyone.

We also have kiosks available on-site if you prefer to browse and place an order when you arrive. Cider to go must be ordered in advance and the number of orders is limited each day. The Country Club is situated ideally just minutes off of both Interstate 495 and 93 and less than 30 minutes from downtown Boston. Though it resides on a busy thoroughfare, it is constructed in a way that focuses your attention on the incredible green space behind and around it. We will evolve the space into an expansive and inviting beer hall and retail store and continue to operate the golf course and various amenities with the full strength of our crew behind it. Tree House is purchasing Tewksbury Country Club from Marc Ginsburg and family. In getting to know Marc and his team, and in learning the history of the Club, it was clear that they share the same passion for great experiences and the meticulous attention to detail that we do.

For perhaps the first time in Massachusetts craft beer, the largest brewery outside of Boston doesn’t distribute. Great beverages can transform ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. They can act as time machines with familiar flavors that bridge the present with the past and evoke feelings of nostalgia and a yearning for days gone by. Having fallen in love with this power, we are forever energized to explore the limits of creativity and to work tirelessly to get it right every single time.
In searching tirelessly for a Tree House location north of Boston, we reached numerous dead ends when trying to find a property that met our standard marrying great architecture, accessibility, and an expansive outdoor environment. We were so delighted to find this property; with it’s towering timber frame aesthetic, it mimics a property that we would have considered building ourselves. It is an ideal showcase for the tremendous talents of our creative teams in brewing, coffee roasting, distilling, farming, and cooking.
Beers that command your attention are a wonderful thing. Beers that can fade into the background as a complementary unspoken companion to celebratory moments in life are also a wonderful thing and deserve to be held in equally high esteem. A Munich Dunkel, Rover honors tradition by utilizing a tedious mashing process of primarily Dark Munich malts to create flavors and aromas of molten toffee, brown bread, mild chocolate, and caramel. A sturdy addition of Tettnanger hops provides balance and depth. A clean dark chestnut color and wispy off-white head only adds to the mouth-watering appeal of this beer. It is thoughtful, elegant, and packed with nuance and character.
Our in-house coffee program provides the ideal cold brew for John to help craft the perfect Coffee Liqueur. This in-house control carries real value, and far exceeds that of a contract-based approach. Eau de Vie is an unforgiving spirit that tests a distiller’s acumen.
